Check-in is between 2 PM and 8 PM; check-out between 6 AM and noon. If you need a different time, let us know in advance and we'll see what we can work out.

Yes. After noon until 4 PM, you'll be charged 50% of the nightly rate. After 4 PM, it's a full night.

To confirm a booking: Pix or payment link. At the pousada: cash, card, or Pix.

The payment schedule changes: the full balance is due 7 days before check-in, or as soon as possible if you're booking less than a week out.

Cancel 15 or more days out and you get 100% back. Less than 15 days and the deposit is non-refundable. You can reschedule (at least 7 days' notice) for use within 6 months - up to twice. Requests must be submitted by email.

If we haven't heard from you by 6 PM on check-in day, the reservation is treated as a no-show and canceled.

Yes, served from 7:30 to 10 AM. We also serve afternoon snacks every day at no extra charge.

Yes. Vista Mar serves lunch from noon to 3 PM (last order at 2 PM) and dinner from 6 PM to 10 PM (last order at 9 PM). Restaurant charges are not included in the room rate.

Up to 4 guests per suite, in either category. Configurations for 1, 2, 3, or 4 guests are all available.

Every room includes free Wi-Fi and breakfast. Depending on the category, rooms also have a balcony, terrace, garden or sea view, air conditioning, and a mini-fridge.

Kids of all ages are welcome. Ages 9 and up are charged as adults. Cribs for ages 0–3 are free on request, subject to availability.

Barreirinhas is your entry point. From there it's about 90 minutes by speedboat along the Preguiças River, or 2 hours by 4x4 through sand trails, beaches, and dunes. Private boat charters are also available.

For most visitors, yes - the ride itself is part of the experience. The Preguiças River passes through mangroves, native vegetation, and small riverside communities.

A long stretch of sand at the mouth of the Preguiças River, where the river meets the Atlantic. It was voted one of the world's 100 best beaches - recently ranked 7th.

One of the best in Brazil. The wind is steady and strong, especially July through December, drawing riders from all over the world.

The Lençóis lagoon circuit, Canto do Atins, a boat ride along the Preguiças River, Atins Beach, ATV or 4x4 rides through the dunes, sunset on the dunes, and longer treks through the Lençóis. Our team can connect you with licensed guides.

3 to 5 days. Enough to see the main lagoons, do a boat tour, enjoy the beach, and actually eat your way around the village without rushing.

In high season (July, holidays, and when the lagoons are fullest), boats and 4x4s book up fast, so plan ahead. Quieter periods have more availability, but the lagoons may be lower.

In the village, a few minutes' walk from the pousada: Casa de Juja, Restaurante da Sessé, Ça-Vá Charme Atins, Restaurante do Rico, Urra! Beer Atins, Cabana Maria, and Aperí-Ceia. Rancho e Restaurante Canto do Atins is in a separate community, Canto do Atins, reached only by boat or 4x4.

It's a small community tucked between the ocean and the Lençóis - famous for its grilled shrimp, easy access to the lagoons, and an almost deserted beach.

Yes: restaurants, cafés, bars, small grocery stores, a pharmacy, kitesurfing schools, and tourism agencies.

No. The village has no bank or ATM, and the internet can be spotty, so even Pix may not go through at some places. Get cash in Barreirinhas or São Luís before you head over.

Light clothes, a hat or cap, sunscreen (the sun on the dunes is no joke), and cash. A soft-sided bag or backpack works better than a hard-shell suitcase - the streets are sand.

We have free Wi-Fi throughout Paraíso dos Ventos. It's a remote village, so cell signal and coverage can vary depending on your carrier and the weather.

You can, but most people who do end up wishing they'd stayed longer. At least two or three nights lets you actually slow down and explore.

In most cases, yes. Casa de Juja, Restaurante da Sessé, Ça-Vá Charme Atins, Restaurante do Rico, Urra! Beer Atins, Cabana Maria, and Aperí-Ceia are all on the village's main street, a few minutes' walk from the pousada. The exception is Rancho e Restaurante Canto do Atins, which is in a separate community.

Recommended, especially in the evening and during high season - some, like Aperí-Ceia, only serve by reservation with limited tables. Our team can tell you what's open that day and help you book.
